Privacy policy
Group Me Calendar Sync turns GroupMe group calendar events into a private iCal URL you can subscribe to in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and similar apps. It does not use the Google Calendar API and does not write to anyone’s Google account.
What we store
- Your GroupMe user id and name.
- An encrypted GroupMe access token so the app can list your groups and read calendar events when a calendar app fetches the feed.
- Which groups you published, plus unguessable feed tokens that appear in the iCal URLs.
What we do not do
- We do not request Google sign-in or Google Calendar permission.
- We do not read GroupMe chat messages except as needed to list groups.
- We do not sell, rent, or use your data for advertising.
Your controls
You can pause or delete a feed, or sign out. Anyone who has a feed URL can read that group’s events until you delete the feed or rotate it. Do not post feed URLs on a public webpage.
